S - Safe (do not give out personal information)

M - Meet (do not meet anyone you have spoken to online)

A - Accept (do not accept anything from strangers or download links that could cause viruses)

R - Reliable (be aware that information can not always be trusted)

T - Tell an adult

We have had a special assembly and also taken part in activities in our classes.

PGL 2016

1st October 2016

We are back! What an amazing week we've had at PGL. The children in Year 5 have been superb.  Thanks to Mrs Derbyshire and Mr Robinson for all their hard work and for being a huge support. Make sure to get plenty of sleep and recover! (That's adults as well as children).

Here are a few more pictures of our adventures.

Well done everyone! I'm really proud of you.

Mrs Nicholls.

30th September - by Andrew Robinson (parent governor)

Just a personal message from myself. I have just had a fantastic week at PGL. Year 5 (inc Mrs Nicholls and Mrs Derbyshire) have been absolutely brilliant. I am amazed by their courage and determination to attempt all the activities. It's such a hectic schedule as you are moving from one thing to another but nothing has phased them. Hopefully they have really enjoyed themselves and they should be proud of what they have achieved. I have also learnt so much. I now know the storylines to a number of Disney films, dance moves that I never knew existed, what to do if you have too much conditioner in your hair and that having 5 or 6 boys in one room is going to smell worse than you can ever imagine. Here's to next year......maybe.

29th September 2016

The children have all been amazing this week. Everyone has really pushed themselves, rising to the many challenges they have faced. Their behaviour, manners and general conduct have all been superb. They have been a credit to their parents and to St. Mary's! Looking forward to our final day and our return home. See you all soon. Mrs Nicholls, Mrs Derbyshire and Mr Robinson.

27th September 2016

Morning all, Quick update from PGL. Arrived safely yesterday afternoon. Last night we had a fun activity where we had to search the whole site looking for flags with clues on them. Just about to wake them up for breakfast. Hopefully we'll be able to post a few pictures tonight.

27th September 2016

Just an update from us all at PGL so far! The children have had an amazing day today! We have been on the trapeze and the climbing wall where everyone had a go and surpassed their expectations! Well done guys! Also we have been rifle shooting, orienteering and doing lots of fun activities. The food is great too!! Hopefully the children will sleep tonight!!
