Nature garden and pond

A big thank you to Mr and Mrs Marshall for their kind donation of blue bells to the garden. They have been lovingly planted by Lily and Isabelle  from Year 4,who have also drawn the beautiful designs on the flower notice board. Thank you girls.

November 2016

The  pond has had it's first batch of frogspawn this spring which the children watched turn into tadpoles and then frogs which was very exciting. We still see 1 or 2 little frogs as we garden and clear up the area! We now have a fixed bird feeder that the children take turns to fill each day/week with delicious treats for our little friends.

Thank you to everyone who has donated plants, veg, bird food and chickenfeed this year we are very greatful for all your support and advice.

Many thanks to Olivia Carlin's Grandad who came and picked apples and tidied up the orchard for us.

The gardening club has taken a short break over winter but plans are already afoot for exciting new things for our gardens next year !! Watch this space!
