I have been the vicar of St Mary Magdalene Church for almost a year now and through this position it is a privilege to be able to serve on the Board of Governors.  I am passionate about all children thriving and reaching their full potential and in my role I hope I can provide spiritual support and encouragement to both children and adults.

It is wonderful to welcome school into St Mary’s church for special services and festivals and to come into school to lead assemblies and be present at other times.  We now have a full time Children and Families Team Leader, Kitty, who is also starting to work together with school and we are looking forward to the relationship between church and school becoming even more fruitful.

My spare time is mainly spent with family and looking after my grandchildren which is a joy.  I enjoy gardening and nature and I especially love being by the coast.
