As Headteacher, I hold an ‘ex offio’ role on Governing Body. I've been in the teaching profession since 2007, working in South Yorkshire and Nottinghamshire across the primary sector. In September 2018, I became Deputy Headteacher at St Mary's, and in 2025, I proudly became the Headteacher to cover for a secondment position. I feel thoroughly blessed to have the opportunity to lead a school that I have been a part of for 7 years. Leading this school is a honour and a delight; I am blessed to work with wonderful children, families and fantastic staff. I continue our vision to be exceptional and to put children at the heart of all our work.

Out of school, I am a mother to two wonderful children, a 9 year old and a 2 year old, who keep me extremely busy. I enjoy spending time with my family, and especially enjoy day trips at the seaside. I like to be active and explore the Peak District with my family. As governor, I answer many questions from the rest of the Governing Body who hold me to account!
