I joined the Governing Body as a Parent Governor in 2024 to support the school in fulfilling its vision and values, which I believe strongly align with fostering the best outcomes for the whole school community. My children currently attend St Mary’s, and I am keen to contribute to its ongoing success.

In this role, leveraging both my career in the technology sector and my interest in promoting an active lifestyle for myself and my children, I support the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths) and PE subject leads by providing accountability and quality assessment. This helps the Governing Body in observing the effectiveness of curriculum delivery whilst encouraging innovative and engaging approaches.

I am committed to working with the school to provide all children with opportunities to develop their skills and reach their potential in these subjects.

During my free time I can mostly be found outdoors, exploring some of the more remote areas around the UK with my family or attempting long distance running events.
