Collective Worship

Collective Worship happens daily at St Mary's: it is central to school life. The themes are chosen to give distinctively Christian messages to the whole school community and to help us all to draw conclusions about how God would like us to respond to life's celebrations and struggles. 

Worship always begins with the lighting of a candle, to mark the presence of God. Worship always includes a time of learning, reflection and response through prayer and song. Christian songs are chosen to reflect the themes of our worship, though we have one special song that links to our vision and values: 'Be Bold, Be Strong'.
