Humanities subjects encompass History and Geography. When we redesigned our curriculum in 2019, we thought carefully about aspects of these subjects that we felt were key to developing knowledge and understanding that would set our children up to live and work in a 21st century society. As a result, sustainability is a key feature of our Geography curriculum, and evidence is at the forefront of our History curriculum. This will enable our children to be critical readers of information and spot 'fake news' more easily; it will also help our children to preserve the world we live in for future generations. Our discrete Geography and History curriculum and policy documents can be found below along with examples of children's learning .
