Curriculum and Assessment

Class teachers use the assessment grids for reading, writing and maths to assess where children are working at. These are at the front of children's books and teachers mark off a statement when it has been evidenced by the child working independently. Children need to achieve all of the WTS and EXS statements by the end of the year to be working at age related expectations. Have a look at the grids when your child brings their books home to see how they are progressing :)
